Password Problems
Once you have signed your user agreement and completed your training, you'll receive your HMIS username and temporary password. Once entered, you'll be asked to create your own password and type again to confirm it.
For active certified users having problems logging in, remember your password must have at least:
- 8 characters
- One upper-case letter (ABC...)
- One lower-case letter (abc...)
- One number (123...)
- And, one special character (@!#$%^&...)
If you don't remember your password, you can just click "forget your password" on the login screen. You'll have to correctly answer your security question to receive a temporary password.
NOTE: If you've never set up your security question and answer, click your user settings in the upper-right corner, then scroll down to Security Settings.
If all else fails, ask your HMIS Representative or HMIS Help Desk to provide you a temporary password.
